Use of Coupled inductors to model an ideal transformer.
In this case Step-down transformers acting on a 3-Phase 120VRMS Voltage input.
📓 A quick formula to set up a Coupled Inductor as a simple Transformer:
Ls = (N₂/N₁)²Lp
Where;
↪️Lp = Inductance of Primary coil
↪️Ls = Inductance of Secondary coil
↪️N₂/N₁ = Turns ratio between the primary and secondary coils
So in choosing a given value for Ls, and a desired turns ratio, we can determine Lp,
and fill out the rest of the model.
Letting the coefficient of coupling be one to further simplify.
🔎 Observe the VRMS measurements off the line-voltag, and off each step-down transformer.
