The Future of Multisim is on the Desktop. On September 15, 2026, the Multisim Live online simulator will be shut down. Read more about this transition here

This is an implementation of an analog function generator. We first create a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) which outputs a triangle wave. Integrated into the VCO is an opamp setup to be a comparator which outputs a square wave.
The triangle wave is then shifted to be centered at 0 and then diode shaped to create a sine wave.
At the moment, the sine wave is correctly shaped on the rising edge but there's an issue on the falling edge. Anyone have any recommendations for a fix?
Nice build, and still one of the better function generators on here after ten years.
Since it's been sitting here that long: Multisim Live shuts down September 15 and saved circuits go with it. I work on CircuitSim, https://circuitsim.com, which imports Multisim Live circuits. Here's what the import looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6ZqL7cAsHw
