DC Ammeter

This example illustrates a method a DC ammeter could use to measure current. At a given current measurement range, a rotary switch on a DVM moves to a set point on a ladder of resistors. This is represented here with several SPDT switches. At that current measurement range the full scale voltage seen at the IC input must not be exceeded.
